WhiteAugust Tea Company was born over a cup of Tea…well, perhaps many cups of Tea. Our yearning for the highest quality Teas combined with the desire to share them, led us to start WhiteAugust Tea Company. Our mission is simple, “Share a premium Tea drinking experience with our customers.” Our passion inspires us to search the globe and hand select the finest variety of Teas and accessories available.

About Tamara and Matt

Our original background is in the Engineering and Surveying fields. Tamara is a Professional Civil Engineer, and Matt is a Registered Land Surveyor. Feeling a need for new challenges, in 2008 it seemed a good time to transform Tamara's passion and knowledge of tea into a full time business and share it with people. Initially a brick and mortar store in Phoenix, Arizona with a second location in Sedona, WhiteAugust became a popular spot for tea lovers in Arizona. Seeing the need in reaching a broader market, the online store was launched in 2009 and is fast becoming a leader in online tea sales. While no longer operating the physical stores, our passion and devotion to tea is still evident in our WebStore. It has been a lot of fun!

The Graham's currently make their home in Arizona with their children and 5 dogs and a cat.
